1965 Sunbeam Tiger …WTF its a British car …but the Tiger was powered by a 260 or 289 Ford small block with Ford 4 speeds. The Tigers were produced from June 64 to June 67.
Chrysler Corp. purchased the Roots Group, which manufactured them and decided to stop producing a car with Ford power. The small block Mopar was too large and the rear mounted distributor would not fit under the cowl. Chrysler owned the Roots Group from 1967 to 1971.
